The gun provides three different air flow settings along with an infinitly variable temperature selector. The digital readout is a very nice plus which first indicates the set target temperature and then shows the increments until it hits the target. This kind of control opens up the amount of uses to more temperature sensitive applications. If you must have the best this is it; though i wish it had a case! As mentioned below it took a few weeks to ship because this product is not normally stocked.
